This help document shows you how to save or publish a learning object that you have updated in the Curriculum Engine.
When editing a new learning object, you will need to save or publish your learning object when done.
Confirm Content
Once you are done updating the learning object, you will need to scroll to the bottom of the window and check the box next to “Please confirm that this content…” The save and publish options will not be available until you have checked this box.
**NOTE** You should only be adding items that you are licensed to use.
Save a Learning Object
Once you have finished updating your learning object, you can either “Save” or “Publish”. Both options are located at the top right:
Save Draft
Click the Save button if you are not ready to publish your changes and want to continue working on it at a later date.
To continue working on the saved draft later, click the “Show Drafts” option in the Learning Object Manager to bring up any draft learning objects.
Click the Edit pencil icon on the learning object card to edit it.
Publish a Learning Object
Click the Publish button to finish and make your updated learning object available.
Once the updated learning object is published successfully, you'll be prompted:
Click the OK button to finish.
Associated Learning Objects
After publishing, depending on the learning object type you are editing, you may be given the option to create an associated learning objects:
For example, if you wanted to create or update the answer key to go with an learning object, you would click the Yes button. See Assessment Building | Adding an answer key or other resources to your assessment for more information.
If you do not need to create an associated learning object, you can click the No button at the prompt to finish publishing your online assessment.
