This help document shows you how to edit your course lesson structure. You can add, reorder, or delete lessons as well as view associated standards and rename lessons.
When Building a New Course, you go through five steps. You can edit your course lesson structure under Step 4: Edit Course Content.
Modify Course Content
Once you have moved content into your course, you can modify the course to meet your needs. There are a variety of options for changes you can make at the course level which are outlined below:
Edit Lesson Name
To change the name of a lesson, click in the name field and enter the new lesson name.
Reorder Lessons
To change the order of the lessons, hover over the equal sign (=) to the left of the lesson until your cursor changes to a four-way arrow. Then click to grab that lesson, drag it to whatever spot in the course you would like to move it, and release your click.
Delete Lessons
To delete a lesson, click the trash can icon to the right of the lesson name.
View Lesson Information
To see summary information about the lesson, click the “View Standards and Skills” link under the lesson name:
An informational screen will pop up:
Click the Done button to exit the pop-up screen.
Add Lessons
You can also add additional lessons or resources to your course.
Click the Add button at the top of the course listing:
This opens the menu option shown below:
Options include:
Add Lesson: You can add a lesson to your course. See Course Builder| Step 4: Adding a lesson to your course for more information.
Add Custom: You can add a custom lesson to your course. See Course Builder| Step 4: Adding a custom lesson to your course for more information.
Start Over
If you are not happy with your edits or changes and want to start over from the beginning, you can click the Reset All button at the top right. See Course Builder | Step 4: How to reset your course content to start over.
