This help document shows you how to select multiple students to perform mass updates in the Curriculum Engine including adding to class,  deleting and resetting passwords.

**NOTE** If your District syncs to the Curriculum Engine via Clever, you cannot manually add, delete or modify students. The student information is pulled in from your SIS during the Clever sync.

To access a list of current students, select the Users --> Students menu option:

To access the mass update features, you need to select at least one student.

  • To select all students, click the checkbox to the left of the column heading names.
  • To select specific students, click the checkbox to the left of the student's name.

Once at least one student is selected, the mass update buttons will be activated. These buttons are shown below.

Add to Class. Select this option to add the selected students to a class.

After selecting this option, the Add to Class window will open. Click the checkbox to the left of the class to which you want to add the students and then click the Add to Class link at the top right.

Once added, you will be prompted with a success message.

After selecting this option, a warning message will be displayed. Click the Yes button to continue with the delete process.

The delete student(s) screen will be displayed. It will show a count of the number of students selected for deletion. Enter the passphrase and click the Verify button on the bottom right.

A Delete Student confirmation screen will be displayed with a list of students who will be deleted. Click the Yes button to confirm deletion.

Once done, you'll be prompted that the student(s) have been deleted.

At the Reset Password Screen, enter your password on the first line and the NEW password for the students on the second. When finished, click the Update button at the bottom left.

**NOTE** To view the text entered, click the eye icon next to the line.

When finished, the system will display a Success Prompt.

**NOTE** Students will be prompted to update the password the first time they login to the system after the password reset.
