This help document shows you how to manually update a student's password in the Curriculum Engine. Note, this can only be done for manually setup districts. Districts that sync via clever cannot update password information on the platform.
**NOTE** If your District syncs to the Curriculum Engine via Clever, you cannot manually add, delete or modify students. The student information is pulled in from your SIS during the Clever sync.
To access a list of current students, select the Users --> Students menu option:
Click the Ellipsis Menu to the right of the Student for whom you want to update the password. This menu is found under the Actions Column on the far right:
The Edit Student window opens:
Click the "Update Password" link at the bottom. This will open the reset password screen:
Enter your password. In the top field, you need to enter your Curriculum Engine password.
Enter new password for Student. Enter the new password for the student.
**NOTE** If you want to see what you have typed in either of these fields, click the eye icon to the right of the password field.
Once you have completed updating the student's password, click the "Update" button at the bottom left to save the change:
To exit without saving your changes, you can click the "Cancel" button.
