This help document is for District Supervisors and covers how to import teacher user types into the Curriculum Engine using a CSV file. 


Import Users


To import teachers, go to the Admin menu at the top right of the screen and select the Import Users option to open the import window.




CSV Import File


You can download the import template that you will need to use to import teacher user types into the Curriculum Engine from the Import User window. 


At the bottom of the window, click the "Download the CSV file template for Teacher" and the CSV file will be downloaded to your computer. 




You will need to fill out the fields in the CSV file prior to importing into the Curriculum Engine.  The fields needed for the import are listed below:




You need the School ID to include in the CSV file. The School ID indicates which school the teachers will be imported to on the platform.

Import File


Select Teacher from the dropdown list under the Upload User Type field at the top of the import window. 


*NOTE* You must select the user type that matches the CSV file that you are importing.


Click the Upload Button and select the CSV file that you want to import.




Select File


Select the CSV file that you want to import and click the OPEN button.




A Processing message will display as the file is imported into the Curriculum Engine.




Confirm Import


Once the file has been processed, the teacher users to be imported will be listed at the bottom of the screen for you to review.  At the top right,  you have two options:


Start Over:  Click the Start Over button to re-do the import.


Confirm:  If there are no errors, and you are ready to complete the import select the Confirm button. This will finalize the import of the teacher users into the Curriculum Engine.


*NOTE*  If there are any errors with the import file or data, the errors will be displayed and you will need to correct the errors and re-import the file before you can finalize.
