This help document is for District Supervisors and covers how to assign courses to teachers on the Curriculum Engine. If a teacher is assigned to a class that has associated courses, they will have access to those courses automatically but if you need to provide access to additional courses that are not attached to their classes, you can assign a course directly to them. 


Users


To select a teacher, go to the Users menu at the top right of the screen and select the Teachers option to open the teacher listing window.




In the Teacher Listing window, click the Plus Icon to the right of the teacher to whom you want to assign a course. The Plus Icon is located under the Actions column.




This will open up two options:


  • Add Students
  • Assign Course


Click the Assign Course option:




This will bring up a list of available courses that you can assign. There are two steps to assigning a course:


Step 1) Select Course

Step 2) Select Version


At Step 1: Select Course, click the option to the left of the course that you want to assign:




To move to Step 2 either click the Next Button at the bottom of the course listing, or click on Step 2: Select Version.




At Step 2: Select Version, click the selection option to the left of the version of the course that you want to assign to the teacher. In the example below, the course only has one version, however courses can have multiple versions available. 


Once you've selected the version, click the Assign Course button at the top right of the screen:




Once the course has been assigned, you'll be prompted with a Success Message. Click the OK Button. The course is now available to the teacher.
