This help document is for District Supervisors and shows how to review and approve a course created by a teacher. Once a shared course has been approved, you can assign it to other teachers in the district.


Course Manager

 

To view shared courses, go to the Content menu at the top right of the screen and select the Course Manager option to open the course manager window. 


 


Select the View Shared Courses link at the top right:




To see a list of courses that have been shared and that are awaiting approval:




To preview the course and review the contents, click on the course name:




Click on the ellipses menu at the far right under the actions column:




 This will open up additional menu options:




View Details:




View Standards and Skills:




After reviewing the teacher created course, you have two options: Approve or Reject. The button for these options is located on the far right under the Actions column:



  • Approve: This option will approve the course. The approved course will now be available to assign to other teacher's in the district and will show up under the District Courses tab in Course Manager.
  • Reject: This option will reject the course. The course will still be available to the teacher who created it, but will not be available to share with other teacher's in the district.
