This help document provides an overview of accessing the digital course materials in the Student View of the Curriculum Engine.
My Portfolio Courses
When you first login to the Curriculum Engine, you are brought to the Courses tab on your My Portfolio page.
You may see more courses than the number of classes that you are taking. This is because each class can have more than one course assigned to it. For more information see: Course Manager | What is a course in the Curriculum Engine?
Digital Student Workbook
To access the digital course materials, click the "View Details" button on the course card for the book you want to open.
Course Hierarchy
Courses can be up to three hierarchy levels in the Curriculum Engine. For example:
Unit
Topic
Lesson
You can expand the course to see the individual tasks by clicking on the arrow to the left of a tier level.
Course Tasks
You can see all of the course materials as you expand and drill into the hierarchy.
Launch Tasks
Once expanded, you can open the individual tasks by clicking on the button to the right of the task.
The buttons available can include:
Start: You have not yet started the task.
Review: You have already completed the task.
Resume: You have started but not completed the task.
*NOTE* The tasks displayed under View Details match the ones in the printed Student Workbooks.
