This help document shows you how you save or publish the online assessment or interactive practice problem that you have created in the Curriculum Engine.
When creating a new assessment or interactive practice problem learning object, there are three steps. After completing all three steps, you are ready to save or publish your learning object.
Confirm Content
Once you have the questions finalized, you will need to scroll to the bottom of the window and check the box next to “Please confirm that this content…” The save and publish options will not be available until you have checked this box.
**NOTE** You should only be adding items that you are licensed to use.
Save or Publish Assessment/Practice
Once you have finished creating your online assessment/practice, you can either “Save Draft” or “Publish”. Both options are located at the top right:
Save Draft
Click the Save Draft button if you are not ready to publish and use your online assessment and want to continue working on it at a later date.
To continue working on the saved draft later, click the “Show Drafts” option in the Learning Object Manager to bring up any draft learning objects.
Click the Edit pencil icon on the learning object card to edit it.
Publish
Click the Publish button to finish and make your online assessment available.
After publishing, you will be prompted once the assessment/practice learning object has been saved successfully:
You will also have the option to create associated learning objects. For example, if you wanted to create an answer key to go with your assessment learning object, you would click the Yes button. See Assessment Building | Adding an answer key or other resources to your assessment for more information.
If you do not need to create an associated learning object, you can click the No button at the prompt to finish publishing your online assessment.
