This help document covers setting up the learning object details for the assessment learning object that you are creating. This includes the learning object name and other descriptive information.

When creating a new assessment learning object, there are three steps. Setting the learning object details is part of Step 1: Set Properties.

Learning Object Details

The Learning Object Details section is where you provide information about the learning object and set the learning object parameters. All fields must be completed to move on to the next step.

Fields under Learning Object Details include:

Type: Select "Assessment" from the drop-down listing. You may need to scroll down to see this option.

Sub-type: Select the option from the drop-down listing that matches the type of assessment you are creating. For example, in the image above, "Unit Assessment" is the sub-type.

Name: Enter the name of your assessment learning object here.

Object Description: This is a free text field where you can enter descriptive information about the assessment you are creating.

Subject: This field will automatically default to “Mathematics”.

Source: Select the source of the objects you are using for your assessment. For example, proprietary to your district.

Duration: Enter the length of time you want for the assessment.

You will need to set your learning object type next. See Assessment Builder | Step 1: Mark your learning object as standard or optional.

You can also complete additional optional fields to further describe the course you are creating after setting the learning object type. See: Assessment Builder | Step 1: Adding instructional settings to your assessment learning object for more information.
