This help document shows you how to preview the course that you have built in the Curriculum Engine.
You can preview, save, or publish a course. These three options are located at the top right of the Course Builder window.
Preview Course
To open a preview of the course you have just built, click the Preview button in the top right:
This will open your course in preview mode. It will open at the first assignment for the first lesson:
Navigate Your Course
Click the forward and back carets at the top right of the screen to navigate through the course in sequential order:
Click the hamburger icon (the three horizontal lines) at the top left of the screen to open the Table of Contents for the course:
The Table of Contents will show you all the lessons in the course. **NOTE** If you have added a hierarchy to your course, for example, units or topics, the default view will be the top level of the hierarchy.
To drill into the Table of Contents, click the right arrow next to a lesson or topic.
This will open up the tasks/assignments under the lessons:
View Assignment
To view an assignment or task, click on the name and it will open in the preview.
To exit the Table of Contents, click the “x” at the top of the Table of Contents screen. You can also click anywhere on your screen away from the Table to Contents to close it. Finally, the Table of Contents will close automatically when you open an assignment or task to preview.
When previewing the task, you can also change the orientation of the image, download the task, or print the task.
You can also zoom in and out of the document using the icons on the bottom right. The options include:

**NOTE** You may need to move your cursor to the task screen to see the print and zoom options, as the menu bar is not always displayed.
When you are finished reviewing your course in preview mode, click the Exit Preview button to go back to the Course Builder.
