This help document shows you how to add a resource to a lesson in your course. Examples of a resource you might want to upload include an instructional document you've created or link to a helpful website.

When Building a New Course, you go through five steps. You are able to add resources to the lessons in your course under Step 4: Edit Course Content.

Add Resource

You can add additional resources to the course you are designing. To add resources:

1. Click the ellipsis menu and Select "Add Resource".

2. This will bring up the Add Resource window.

3. Enter the name of the resource in the Name field.

4. Attach the resource you want to include in your lesson. **NOTE** You can either upload a file or enter a URL/website address.

If you enter a file, it can be downloaded from the lesson. If you enter a URL, it will open in another window.

5. If you do not want students to be able to access the resource, check the “Mark as a Teacher Only Resource” at the bottom of the window.

6. To save the resource to the lesson, click the Done button.

7. The resource will now be listed under your lesson. It will default to the bottom of the lesson, but you can drag and drop it to another spot if needed.

8. To remove a resource from a lesson, click the “X” icon to the right of the resource name.
