This help document covers setting up the course details for the course that you are creating. This includes the course name and other descriptive information.
When building a new course, there are five steps. Setting the course details is part of Step 1: Set Properties.
Course Details
The Course Details Section is where you provide information about the course and set the course parameters. All fields must be completed to move on to the next step.
Fields under Course Details include:
Name: Enter the name of your course.
Description: Enter a description of the course you are creating.
Type of Course: Select the type of course from the drop-down menu.
Options Include:
Teacher-led Online
Teacher-led Offline
Teacher-led Blended
Independent Study Online
Independent Study Offline
Independent Study Blended
Purpose of Course: Select the purpose of course from the drop-down menu.
Options Include:
Remediation
Credit recovery
Extended assignment
Core
Other
Subject: Select “Mathematics” from the drop-down menu.
Instructional Approach: Check all options from the drop-down menu that align with the course you are creating. You can check more than one option; you must select at least one option.
Options Include:
Collaboration
Differentiation
Direct Instruction
Guided Inquiry
Independent Practice
Problem-based Instruction
